i have a camera full of december views that i have't uploaded to the computer and i thought i might try and catch up ad i still might but am in such a relaxed sluggy mode right now when it comes to being on the computer. i am just really enjoyig being in the relax of having unscheduled time. unscheduled time.
the parties are over until new year's eve and while i have to work next week, its only for 2 days, my house is still clean and organized and last night in a relaxed frenzy, i made 5 necklaces that make my heart sing. am wearing one now. i have encaustic paint and photo transfers mucking up my studio and the light, oh my gosh, the beautiful light that is this time of the year. i swoon all day long.
tomorrow i am planning an early morning snowshoe photoshoot. we got new snowshoes and i can't wait to try them out beyond my back yard. i have visions of early morning light and the quiet nudge of air that wafts through the quiet wooded crunch of snow.
i feel in a perpetual state of drowsy while somehow also feeling more awake than i have in a long time. its a very good feeling and i'm embracing it.

i feel this way too! so relaxed and happy and chilled and sleepy and lazy and cozy and alert and thoughtful and warm and fuzzy! haha. it's been a lovely holiday season! i've still got a few more days off..then i have to work one day...then i have four more days off! i love this time of year. the only time when my time is my own, to do with what i please. it's wonderful. and thank you for these pretty photos. they are beautiful! :)
Unscheduled time is true luxury and I'm glad to see you are sucking it up like a sponge. Beautiful photo, by the way. The yellow walls in your home give so many of your photographs an undeniable feeling of joy. I love them. Love 'em.
