Gratitude
I am grateful for family, the light that casts beauty across shadows, music that lifts emotions, a little house and garden filled with colour and love, friends and inspirations, the beauty of nature, the ocean’s cold spray, the soft barnacle skin of the grey whale and the possibilities that exist in life.

community love
i am feeling quiet these days. its interesting because every day, i go through such variety of emotion from feeling confident and grounded to feeling insecure and weepy to feeling love for everyone and everything to feeling lost and drowning in a sea of strangers. the glass is half full. the glass is drained dry. i forgive you. i wonder where you are. i want to dance in the sunlight. i want to sink my teeth into the darkness. i want to strip my face clear of artifice. i want to dress up and laugh in sarcastic gaiety. i want to wear black. pink. purple. shades of grey. and yet in the midst of it all i am feeling quiet.
there is so much going on in my head that i want to share but i would rather do it voice to voice, a whisper of a laugh communicated in real time where words are not as open to interpretation. i want to be clear with my thoughts as i am shifting, changing, making plans and getting ready to dive off of the ledge of my own security. i am wide open, a sea clinging to driftwood with a mermaid’s tail gracefully moving through salt.
and so i will share some of my community love, projects i am working on that fill me with joy. i so love working with other people, talent coming together bringing new depth to thoughts and new inspiration to emotions of life becoming visible. art.
