no. 20
Sunday, November 29, 2009 I found I could say things with color and shapes
that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for.
~Georgia O'Keefe
in an interesting twist to this challenge, unbenownst to each other, all participants provided two photographs for various reasons. it worked out rather nicely i think.

i have always enjoyed every post here, but this has to be one of my favorite to date... and not just because the person who stated the quote shares my first name. :-)
both sets of photos are incredible and so visually stimulating! perfection. i love it. can't wait to join in and post.
after i left my first comment, i remembered a post i did back in february on my blog. {http://itsjusthowiseethings.blogspot.com/2009/02/colortexturepatternshape-no1.html}
i had wanted to make this a series, but i never got around to doing a second installment, so i guess it's not really a series yet. but your post today has inspired me to revisit this project of mine to look for pattern and shape and color and texture in the things around me and photograph them. thanks!
wow. i think this is one of my favorites too. what synchronicity - in each set of pairings! i love the colors and shapes.
This did work out nicely. I love the way you worked with the blues and the yellows. Such bright, exquisite colors! And Georgia O'Keefe- anytime you channel such a muse to the scene, there is bound to be magic!
the colours of these are all so perfect!
love them all.....

That is so amazing -- and beautiful. I enjoy all of your collages of your entries, but this prompt has to be one of my favorites. :)
I guess great minds think alike. Amazing how the accidental second photos worked so perfectly together. Wonderful collections of images!!
Oh, I love such serendipitous events. It's a hint that you are with kindreds.
I think it pisses God off if you walk by the colour purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it.
